According to Wikipedia, Prof. Dr. Ulrich Wetterauer is one of the most recognized urologists in the German-speaking world. He studied human medicine in Tübingen and Freiburg. He received his clinical and scientific training in the surgical and urological department of the University Hospital of Freiburg. In 1988, a research stay at the University of California San Francisco followed. In 1998, he was elected chairman of the Working Group Andrology of the German Urologists for five years. In October 2001, he was appointed Medical Director of the Department of Urology at Freiburg University Hospital. From 2005 to 2011, he also held the position of Managing Director of the Surgical University Hospital Freiburg. Before Ulrich Wetterauer took up his position at alta uro, he was a Senior Consultant at the Urological Clinic of the University Hospital Basel.
